Frequently Asked Questions

How does the science behind hypnosis work?

According to an article by the American Psychological Association, “Hypnosis can create a highly relaxed state of inner concentration and focused attention for patients, and the technique can be tailored to different treatment methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy. Patients also can become more empowered by learning to hypnotize themselves at home to reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, or alleviate some symptoms of depression or anxiety.”

what happens in a hypnotherapy session?

During the hynotherapy session, individuals are guided by the hynotherapist through an induced trance-like process where they are able to deeply relax, focus their mind, and respond more readily to suggestions. Through the heightened awareness of the hypnotic state, the individual receiving the treatment can focus on their issue more deeply.

How much does a session cost?

Sessions start at $90 per 60-minute session, and $130 per 90-minutes session, (all adult first sessions are 90 minutes) Group sessions and recordings are $65 per participant. Also offer pkg deals when paid in full at first session, these include a basic pkg 4 sessions $380, and premium pkg 6 sessions $550.

how many hypnotherapy sessions will I have?

As with any kind of therapy, there is no way to know exactly how many sessions it will take to process trauma and begin to heal. The number of sessions depends on what type of issues are needed to process fully, and how deep those issues are within the individual. However, during the first session we can determine approximately how many sessions will be needed.
